Mid-weight to senior interior designers wanted.
Would you like to design Edinburgh townhouses and Scottish stately homes? Contemporary coastal retreats and boutique hotels? We are looking for a talented interior designer to join our award winning team.
Our portfolio spans a kaleidoscope of influences, each reflecting the varied tastes, lifestyles, and characters of our clients. A creative chameleon, you will work alongside Design Director, Jo Aynsley, to deliver a diverse range of residential and commercial projects across the UK.
We are looking for a candidate with well-rounded experience and ability to lead projects end to end, from developing the design brief to placing the final object on that custom made bookcase. You will delight clients with designs that exceed their expectations, providing impeccably finished schemes and a first-class service from start to finish.
This roles requires a creative, passionate and diligent approach with original ideas and a keen eye for detail.
You will also need…
Strong technical knowledge.
Experience in space planning, décor, flooring, lighting, furniture, window treatments and accessories is essential. Kitchens, bathrooms, custom cabinetry, architectural detailing would be beneficial.
Autocad, Sketch Up and Adobe Suite (photoshop / in design)
EstiPC and estimating experience
Microsoft / Outlook
Project management skills - proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, installs, and experience of working with wider design teams to make this happen (architects, contractors).
First class customer service and communication.
Full, clean UK driving license.
Permission to work in the UK.
This is a mid weight to senior position, which requires minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. We are interested to hear from interior designers with a strong residential portfolio, interior architects or commercial / hospitality designers.
Full time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, mostly 9am – 5.30pm, with flexible hours required for site visits and installs.
Based in Stockbridge, Edinburgh with some travel and overnight stays expected across the UK.
Competitive salary and bonus scheme - dependent on experience.
