An award-winning, multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a talented Interior Architect to join their dynamic interiors team. This division delivers design services from concept to technical design and on-site works, focusing primarily on residentially-led projects. Collaborating closely with architects and the wider design team, the goal is to create interiors that seamlessly complement architectural intent and surpass client expectations.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects or project elements, within parameters set by senior leadership.
Utilise imagery, sketches, and models to communicate and present design ideas effectively.
Support the creation and delivery of project pitches to clients.
Represent the practice at external meetings as requested by senior team members.
Liaise and coordinate with suppliers as required.
Contribute actively to internal team meetings and collaborative design sessions.
Demonstrate competent skills in both design and project delivery.
Oversee the budget for assigned aspects of projects.
Attend and represent the practice at industry events.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an interior design role.
Architectural qualifications such as Part 1, Part 2, or full qualification (advantageous).
Capable of producing comprehensive, detailed drawings and full specification packages.
Proficiency with Revit, VectorWorks, Affinity, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp.
Strong sketching skills are a bonus.
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
A flair for creative, design-led thinking.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work well within a small, collaborative team.
