Interior Architect – Timeless High-End Residential Projects

Are you a detail-driven Interior Architect with a passion for timeless design and beautifully layered interiors? This is a rare opportunity to join a small, respected studio working at the very top of the high-end residential market on multi-million-pound private homes across the globe.

Our client has an instantly recognisable aesthetic and an enviable client list. This team delivers intricate, classically inspired interiors that reflect the highest level of craft and design.

Beyond the creative and technical aspects of the role, this studio offers a genuinely collaborative environment where every team member plays an active role in shaping projects.

The culture is fast-paced but friendly, with a shared appreciation for quality, detail and design excellence. The founder remains closely involved across all projects, bringing a deep respect for the contributions of the team. From supplier events to after-work drinks in the summer, the studio maintains a social and supportive energy that balances productivity with enjoyment.

They are looking for someone warm, presentable and professional, someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organised and detail-focused, and who brings a positive attitude to the studio and to clients.

Why this role is different

  • Elite-Level Projects: You will be part of an exceptionally skilled team delivering world-class residential interiors for a select group of international clients with no compromise on quality.
  • Creative and Technical Influence: This role blends hands-on design with architectural detailing, concept visuals and close coordination across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Close-Knit Studio: With a team of just over a 10, your impact will be immediate and visible, and you will work closely with the studio’s Lead Designer on some of their most prestigious projects.
  • Long-Term Reward: The studio offers a generous holiday package, a loyalty-based discretionary bonus, and a culture that values craft, care and long-term contribution.

The Role

  • Support and lead on drawing packages, joinery detailing, and design markups across multiple live projects
  • Develop and deliver drawing sets in AutoCAD, with confidence across space planning and interior architecture
  • Contribute to client presentations, visuals and concept development using SketchUp and Photoshop
  • Maintain a clear and organised CAD admin system that is accessible across the studio
  • Liaise with internal designers and senior staff to ensure accuracy, consistency and beautiful execution

About You

  • At least five years of professional experience in interior architecture or technical design, ideally within the high-end residential sector
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with a meticulous approach to detailing.
  • Skilled in SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop, with knowledge of rendering tools considered an advantage
  • Highly organised with a methodical approach to documentation and project coordination
  • Confident handling CAD administration, ensuring all drawing files are accurate, consistent and easily accessible across multiple projects
  • Strong spatial awareness with the ability to confidently visualise spaces and forms in three dimensions
  • Solid understanding of traditional interior design principles, with some familiarity with classical architectural and construction detailing welcomed
  • Polished, collaborative and discreet, comfortable working closely within a small team on confidential, high-value design schemes

The Offer

  • Salary of £40,000 to £44,000 depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus scheme increases with tenure
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Nest pension scheme
