Careers In Design (Recruitment) Limited is seeking an Account Manager or Business Development Executive for an established Interior Design Consultancy in Bath. The role blends winning new business with nurturing existing client relationships in residential and growing hospitality sectors.

You will build strong client partnerships, respond to enquiries, negotiate budgets, and prepare briefs for the project management team, with a focus on targets and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales role within the interiors or property development sector.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• A commercial mindset with an understanding of sales targets and gross profit.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good IT skills.
• A current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships to encourage repeat business, referrals and long-term retention
• Responding to and following up sales enquiries
• Negotiating project budgets, timescales and requirements with clients
• Preparing clear and concise client briefs for the project management team
• Providing sales forecasts and information to support forward planning
• Supporting seasonal marketing and advertising campaigns
