Are you an experienced healthcare leader ready to take on a high-impact interim assignment? We’re seeking an Interim Service Manager to provide operational leadership and stability for a specialist Complex Care service supporting adults with neurological or complex physical health needs.

This is a key opportunity to drive quality, compliance, and cultural improvement in a service that plays a vital role in delivering safe, person-centred care.

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of a specialist complex care service, providing direction to both clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, governance frameworks, and internal quality systems.
  • Deliver visible leadership and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and compassionate care.
  • Oversee audits, action plans, and service improvement initiatives following inspection findings.
  • Build effective relationships with staff, families, and external stakeholders to promote recovery-focused outcomes and operational excellence.

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader with the expertise and credibility to make an immediate impact.

Essential Requirements:

  • Active NMC PIN (RGN)
  • Proven operational leadership experience in complex care, neurorehabilitation, or a similar specialist setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, governance frameworks, and safeguarding processes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams through change and driving service improvement.
  • Experience in turnaround or quality improvement projects.

Contract: 3–6 months

Rate: £400–£400 per day + expenses

Location: East Midlands (on-site 5 days per week)
