Qualifications

• Proven experience leading business transformation in PE or asset-management backed organisations.
• Transformation approach covers people, processes and technology, not only IT or finance.
• Experience delivering systems implementations from assessment through adoption.
• Comfortable in evolving scale-up environments with incomplete processes.
• Strong project and change-management capabilities with delivery focus.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and secure investment.
• Willingness to collaborate with international teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Complete a detailed gap analysis across systems, processes and operational capabilities.
• Develop and own a clear, prioritised transformation roadmap.
• Mobilise and deliver business-critical technology and process-improvement projects.
• Establish robust programme governance, including milestones, risks, dependencies and investment requirements.
• Produce compelling business cases for additional systems or resources where required.
• Work across Finance, IT, Commercial, Development, Construction and Operations.
• Create test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Develop training programmes, process documentation and clear ownership structures.
• Establish adoption and benefits-realisation metrics to ensure changes become embedded.
• Hold stakeholders accountable for delivery and provide constructive challenge when progress stalls.
• Transfer knowledge to internal teams and leave sustainable processes in place.

Early-stage energy infrastructure business backed by a global asset manager

The Siena Partnership is supporting a fast-growing energy infrastructure business that has successfully transitioned from start-up to scale-up. Following a period of significant growth, the business is now seeking an experienced Interim Transformation Lead to introduce greater operational consistency, strengthen its core systems and embed scalable processes across the organisation.

This is a hands‑on delivery role with sponsorship from the shareholder and executive leadership team. The successful candidate will take ownership of the transformation roadmap, accelerate several business‑critical initiatives and ensure change is adopted effectively across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Candidate profile

• Proven experience leading business transformation within a private equity or asset management‑backed organisation.
• A transformation‑led background encompassing people, processes and technology, rather than a purely IT or finance remit.
• Demonstrable experience delivering systems implementations and operational change from initial assessment through to adoption.
• Comfortable operating in an evolving scale‑up environment where processes and responsibilities are not yet fully defined.
• Strong project and change‑management capability, combined with a willingness to remain close to delivery.
• Confident influencing executive stakeholders, challenging established thinking and securing investment.
• Energetic, pragmatic and capable of creating momentum across time‑constrained teams.
• Energy, infrastructure or project‑based sector experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Flexibility to collaborate with international teams across multiple time zones.

The role will initially require a strong office presence in London to build relationships and establish momentum, moving towards a hybrid pattern of approximately two to three days per week. A four‑day working arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
