A leading consultancy firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Interim Technical Manager to oversee multiple sites for a period of three months. The ideal candidate will possess strong food safety knowledge and experience in coaching and mentoring team members. The role involves direct reporting to the Head of Technical and Quality while supporting an understaffed team. Immediate start required.

Interim Technical Manager is required for multi-site role for three months to start asap.
My client is currently restructuring and as a result is looking for an Interim Technical Manager to hold the fort for a minimum of three months.
The role is multi-site with four sites to manage.
Reporting into the Head of Technical and Quality, you will have seven direct reports, including a Technical graduate, Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist and five specification technologists. There is a Quality Manager based at each site..
The team is currently understaffed, so under a lot of pressure and morale is low, so this person needs to come in and provide expertise and support to the team.
To apply, you will be an experienced Interim Technical Manager with multi-site experience.
Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing the competency of individual team members is a must.
You will have strong knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety, SQMS, HACCP, and food legislation and familiarity with electronic quality management systems (eQMS) and technical document control.
You must be available to start within the next two weeks.
