Job Description

We’re supporting a global business undergoing a major finance transformation programme and looking for an experienced interim Tax Project Manager to join the team. This role will focus on a high-profile global tax compliance and technology implementation project, working closely with tax, finance, and technology teams, as well as third-party providers.

You’ll need to be a strong communicator, pragmatic in your approach, and comfortable working across complex matrix structures to drive progress, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery for a global tax reporting and compliance transformation initiative
  • Manage comms and governance across finance, tax, and technology stakeholders
  • Drive timelines, risks, budgets, and progress tracking for internal teams and external partners
  • Support user testing, change management, training and business readiness activities
  • Chair meetings, manage artefacts (e.g. SharePoint), and maintain clear audit trails of key decisions

Candidate Profile:

  • Familiarity with Oracle TRCS or similar finance/tax systems and tools is highly desirable
  • Experienced project manager with a background in finance transformation or regulatory change
  • Comfortable operating in large, multinational environments with complex stakeholder maps
  • Strong understanding of tax and/or finance processes – able to grasp technical content
  • Confident communicator, able to draft comms for senior stakeholders and lead workshops
