About Our Client

An international, innovative Real Estate Firm looking to dramatically scale up across EMEA and APAC regions.

Job Description

  1. You'll manage the calculation of tax liabilities, tax form preparation, and external filing/reporting.
  2. You will manage tax research, analysis, and interpretation for purposes of compliance, tax planning, and optimisation (e.g., impact of changes to laws and regulations on tax liabilities, tax structuring for merger and acquisition activity, transfer pricing, etc.).
  3. You will do tax-specific transaction recording and records maintenance (e.g., tax journals, capital expenditure details required for tax calculations, tax depreciation schedules, etc.).
  4. You will consult with external consultants on tax matters (e.g., external auditors, lawyers, and regulatory agencies, etc.).
  5. You'll coordinate with legal on legal entity maintenance from a tax perspective.
  6. You'll assist with various US tax projects for HQ as required, including gathering specific data quarterly and annually.

The Successful Applicant

  1. You must have relevant direct (corporate income) and indirect (VAT) experience in local jurisdictions.
  2. Experience with US parent company tax reporting (US GAAP & IFRS Financials).
  3. Someone who is able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly.
  4. Experience working in-house is ideal, but not required.
