Job summary

Our client is a growing international business seeking an Interim Talent Partner to lead talent and succession initiatives within a global People team. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to strengthen leadership development and performance processes during a maternity cover period.

You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across geography to identify capability gaps, shape governance, and drive talent analytics and reporting to inform decision making.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and implementing talent and succession planning frameworks.
  • Strong background in talent strategy, organisational capability and leadership development.
  • Experience supporting performance management transformation programmes.
  • Ability to work closely with senior leaders to drive business outcomes through talent initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with talent and performance management systems, ideally SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of talent and succession planning frameworks across the organisation.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify critical roles, capability gaps and succession priorities.
  • Design and facilitate talent review and succession planning processes.
  • Support the continued development of the organisation’s performance management approach.
  • Work with leaders to strengthen talent assessment and performance conversations.
  • Ensure alignment between performance, development and reward initiatives.
  • Support the rollout and optimisation of talent and performance management technology, including SuccessFactors.
  • Design and deliver leadership development and capability-building programmes.
  • Provide expert guidance to leaders on organisational capability and talent priorities.
  • Lead talent-related projects as part of the wider People transformation agenda.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives for key capability areas.
  • Develop talent governance processes, reporting and workforce analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Track and report on talent metrics, programme effectiveness and succession outcomes.

Our client is a growing international business operating in a fast-paced and evolving sector. Following a period of significant organisational change and growth, they’re continuing to invest in their people strategy and are looking to strengthen their approach to talent, succession planning and leadership development across the organisation. As Interim Talent Partner, you’ll join the People team during an important phase of development. The business is focused on creating consistent talent frameworks, building leadership capability and ensuring they have the right people and processes in place to support future growth. This maternity cover role will play a key part in helping deliver those priorities.

About the Role

This is a highly visible role sitting within a global People team, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business. You’ll be responsible for driving key talent initiatives, helping leaders identify and develop future talent, strengthening succession planning processes, and embedding a more strategic approach to performance and leadership development. About You

We’re looking for an experienced Talent professional who has operated within complex, international organisations and is comfortable working with senior stakeholders. You’ll bring strong expertise across talent management, succession planning and leadership development, alongside the credibility to influence and challenge constructively when needed. Just as importantly, you’ll be happy rolling your sleeves up and delivering solutions in a business that is continuing to evolve and grow.

Requirements
  • Proven experience designing and implementing talent and succession planning frameworks
  • Strong background in talent strategy, organisational capability and leadership development
  • Experience supporting performance management transformation programmes
  • Ability to work closely with senior leaders to drive business outcomes through talent initiatives

  • Strong project and programme management capabilities
  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed and international environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use talent and workforce data to inform decisions
  • Experience working with talent and performance management systems, ideally SuccessFactors
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, change and organisational transformation
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative working style
