Company: High-Growth Fund Services Platform (Pan-European Buy & Build Strategy)

We are seeking a highly experienced Interim Strategic Advisor to support a fast-growing, pan-European fund services business through an ambitious buy-and-build expansion. With recent growth initiatives underway and significant investment into new markets, this is a pivotal advisory role working directly with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to deliver strategic initiatives and post-acquisition integration.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned strategy consultant or operating partner with deep M&A, transformation, and post-merger integration experience in financial services or fund services environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support executive leadership in shaping and executing inorganic growth strategy across Europe
  • Drive post-merger integration (PMI) frameworks and lead strategic implementation projects
  • Advise on commercial diligence, bolt-on pipeline assessment, and synergy identification
  • Act as a bridge between the investment team and operational leadership
  • Guide operating model development and integration planning across multiple jurisdictions
  • Engage with senior function heads (COO, CFO, CTO, etc.) across group entities
  • Provide strategic input into expansion roadmaps, value creation, and exit positioning

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in M&A, PMI, strategy consulting, or operating partner roles
  • Extensive experience in fund services, financial infrastructure, or related sectors
  • Prior background in private equity, Big 4 transaction services, or top-tier consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
  • Strong understanding of European market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort operating in a board-facing role
