This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting, cost control, and business partnering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the month-end close and produce accurate management reports for senior leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costing, BOM, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and report on key operational and financial KPIs to support site and group performance.
  • Partner with production and supply chain teams to drive operational efficiency and cost transparency.
  • Deliver detailed material margin and cost of sales analysis.
  • Support annual budgets, forecasts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure financial controls and compliance are maintained in line with group policy.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with extensive manufacturing experience.
  • Strong understanding of costing, inventory, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge and influence operational stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
