Job summary

A large listed business based outside Basingstoke is recruiting for an interim Senior Tax Accountant for a 12 month contract. You will focus on preparing Corporation Tax returns and supporting year-end reporting, among other tax-related responsibilities. Ideal candidates should be qualified in CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA with strong corporate tax experience and effective communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to partner with teams across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Qualified CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA with corporate tax background.
• Experience with international businesses is preferred.

Overview

Recruiting for an interim Senior Tax Accountant for a 12 month contract working for a large listed business based outside Basingstoke. The role will initially focus on preparing Corporation Tax returns and preparation for year-end reporting.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all UK companies tax computations and returns using the in house Tax system
• Supporting the tax provision process for half year and year end reporting including liaising with external auditors
• Supporting the process for quarterly tax payments
• Partnering with local finance teams across UK and Europe, ensuring accurate tax accounting entries for group reporting and local entities, including corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and R&D tax credits
• Supporting tax governance frameworks

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA with a strong corporate tax background ideally with an international business. The ability to business partner with the European teams and communicate effectively is essential for the role.
