Job summary

The London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Lawyer / Planning & Highways Solicitor on an interim basis to join a well-established legal team, handle a varied planning caseload, and mentor junior lawyers. Contract: initial 6 months+ with potential rolling arrangement; £60-£65 per hour (DOE).

Ideally 1–2 office days per week initially. Key duties include advising on planning matters, drafting Section 106 and other development agreements, planning enforcement, regeneration

Responsibilities

• Advising on a broad range of planning law matters
• Drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements
• Highways and development-related agreements
• Planning enforcement work
• Supporting regeneration and master-planning projects
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
