Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance Distribution

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Location: London

Position: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading specialist insurer and reinsurer, a multinational insurance business, on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in August.

The Senior Legal Counsel will have significant experience in insurance distribution and will be responsible for:

• Advising on insurance distribution of products
• Advising on insurance distribution structures and channels
• Handling issues and disputes, including exits
• Risk management and proposing insurance products

The ideal candidate will:

• Be qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales
• Have insurance experience within a commercial or specialty insurer
• Have substantial experience in insurance distribution

This role offers the opportunity to join a leading insurer in London, with potential for the role to become permanent. The position is office-based two days a week with three days remote, providing a hybrid working environment. The office is centrally located.
