Interim Finance Analyst - Real Estate

Location:

3-6 months

Role Overview:

Are you a data-driven finance professional who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments? We are recruiting an Interim Finance Analyst for a Private Equity-backed real estate company. This role involves working on various tasks at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, making it ideal for someone comfortable with messy data and complex KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work directly with the CFO and Head of FP&A on project and reporting requirements.
2. Clean, consolidate, and structure complex financial and operational data across multiple systems.
3. Build and refine financial models and reporting packs for investor and board presentations.
4. Analyze key commercial KPIs (e.g., occupancy rates, rental yield, lease churn) and extract insights.
5. Support due diligence and valuation processes alongside external advisors and PE stakeholders.
6. Enhance data visibility and improve financial storytelling.
7. Collaborate with asset managers, finance, and strategy teams across functions.

Candidate Profile:

1. Proven experience in real estate finance.
2. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; Anaplan experience is a plus.
3. Ability to transform chaotic data into clear, actionable insights.
4. Comfortable working under ambiguity with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
5. Commercial mindset, able to connect numbers to business narratives.
6. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with experience being highly valued.
