INTERIM SENIOR PROPERTY SURVEYOR

LONDON

Park Avenue are pleased to be working with a London Borough who require an Interim Senior Commercial Property Surveyor on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is separated into three key areas:

Strategically reviewing the portfolio - thinking outside the box and finding new ways to generate income.

Lettings - Letting out key commercial office space to a deadline. You'll be working closely with the agents, ensuring they're working for the Council, not just acting on their behalf.

Reviewing their service charges and organising new processes to develop and implement for future (whether to outsource or manage inhouse)

This council have around 350 assets in their commercial portfolio, consisting of shops, business units, offices and underground car parks. The rental income is around £19m, with a total value of close to £280m.

• MRICS and Local Authority experience is essential.
• Office attendance and site inspections will be 3 days per week.
• Interviews next week.
• Ideal start date ASAP.
