Job description

Opportunity for an interim Senior Commercial Lawyer to join the Group legal team of a real estate focused private equity firm. This is an initial 6-month FTC to cover maternity leave, with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Location: Central London, hybrid working 3-4 days/week in the office. Option for part-time, 4 days/week.

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as framework agreements, terms and conditions, supply of goods and services agreements, property management agreements.
2. Respond to complex RFPs.
3. Advise on broader IP and privacy matters.
4. Lead procurement legal issues, advising on risks and managing disputes.

Candidates should have 5+ years PQE, preferably in a similar in-house environment as a commercial lawyer. Experience in real estate or related sectors is advantageous. Strong technical knowledge, contract drafting skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment are essential.
