Job Description:

Opportunity for an interim Senior Commercial Lawyer to join the Group legal team of a real estate focused private equity firm. This is an initial 6 month FTC to cover for a period of maternity leave with potential to extend or go permanent.

Central London location, hybrid working 3-4 days/week in the office. Option for part-time, 4 days/week.

Reporting to the Group General Counsel you will take a lead role on commercial matters for the Group including:

• draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as framework agreements, terms and conditions, supply of goods and services agreements, property management agreements
• responding to complex RFPs
• advising on broader IP and privacy matters
• taking a lead role on procurement issues from a legal perspective, advising on risks and managing any disputes

You will be 5+ years PQE as a guide with experience ideally gained in a similar in-house environment as a commercial lawyer. Experience in the real estate sector or related area would be advantageous. Strong technical knowledge, contract drafting skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced, growth environment are critical.
