Job summary

W Talent in Derby is seeking an immediately available Interim Senior Buyer to support an engineering manufacturer during a peak growth phase. The role focuses on procuring engineering parts and materials to meet rising production demand.

You will work on supplier selection, negotiations and ensuring timely deliveries, with exposure to materials planning or MRP considered a plus. A short notice period is preferred for this 3-month rolling contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/procurement within engineering or manufacturing.
• Sourcing parts, components and raw materials.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.

I'm looking for an immediately available candidate for a engineering business I'm currently supporting. It's a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Derby that is going through a significant period of growth and is looking to appoint an Interim Senior Buyer on a 3-month rolling contract.

The role will focus on procuring engineering parts and materials to support increased production demand. Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential, and any exposure to materials planning or production planning would be a distinct advantage.
