Job summary

ISS is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to partner with Operations, Billing and Finance teams in the UK. The role supports month-end activities, cash flow protection, audit-ready documentation, and governance compliance.

You will own revenue-related balances, ensure proper revenue recognition, review billing readiness, manage billing schedules and contract-based invoicing, and prepare applications for payment where required. Strong Excel and finance systems skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Revenue Assurance, Working Capital, Controlling, Billing, or Revenue Accounting.
• Strong understanding of WIP, accruals, billing cycles, and revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to challenge operational and commercial stakeholders constructively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Own assurance over revenue-related balances, including WIP, accrued revenue, and unbilled revenue.
• Ensure revenue recognition is supported by appropriate operational evidence and contractual entitlement.
• Govern billing readiness by reviewing inputs, approvals, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and oversee billing schedules, pricing structures, and contractual billing mechanisms.
• Prepare, submit, and track applications for payment where contractually required.
• Review and explain WIP and accrued revenue movements, ensuring balances are appropriately supported.
• Maintain control evidence, follow standard operating procedures, and support audit requirements.
• Produce revenue and working capital assurance reporting, identifying risks, control gaps, and trends impacting revenue integrity.
