Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking an experienced Interim Personal and Partnership Tax Senior Manager for a 100% remote role. The candidate will handle partnership tax matters, advise senior stakeholders, and manage filings during the busy season.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA/ATT/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong practical experience of UK partnership taxation.
• Experience advising partnerships, LLPs or professional services firms.
• Ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide clear commercial advice.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently in a contract environment.
• Experience in professional services, asset management, real estate, private equity or alt investment structures.
• Exposure to partner tax issues, international partnerships or cross-border structures.
• Previous interim or contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee partnership tax compliance processes and timely filings.
• Provide technical advice on partnership taxation and profit sharing arrangements.
• Support preparation and review of partnership tax returns and partner statements.
• Advise on tax implications of partner admissions, retirements and ownership changes.
• Partner with finance, legal and business teams to provide tax guidance.
• Assist with tax risk management, governance and compliance initiatives.
• Respond to HMRC enquiries and support tax authority interactions.
• Review processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support ad hoc advisory projects and transactions.
