Job summary

Lifeways Group is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for an 8-bed residential service in Twickenham, to lead with a person-centred approach and drive high standards. You’ll oversee care for people with complex needs, supported by an Area Manager, while shaping service delivery and governance.

You will have a strong track record with CQC, embed quality improvements, and develop a skilled team of care staff to deliver outstanding outcomes, dignity, independence, and compassion at every step.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable).
• Strong experience in operational and people management.
• A valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Passion for quality care and leading by example.

Job description

Title: Interim Registered Manager
Location: Twickenham, Greater London
Sector: complex learning and physical disabilities

Duration: 6-month fixed term contract

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for an 8-bed residential service in Twickenham.

You will be supported by a dedicated Area Manager, while having the autonomy to lead in your own style - driving high standards, building strong teams, and achieving meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

We’re looking for a leader who:

• Has a strong track record with Care Quality Commission (CQC), including achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings.
• Has experience improving or turning around services and embedding strong quality and governance.
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care for people with complex and profound learning and physical disabilities.
• Can lead, inspire, and develop a skilled care team to deliver exceptional support.
• Is committed to individualised care, dignity, independence, and meaningful outcomes for every person supported.

In this role, you will:

• Support, inspire, and develop your team of support workers, team leaders and a deputy manager to deliver outstanding care and support within this purpose built care home.
• You will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and physical disabilities, each with their own unique and complex needs.
• Drive service improvements and quality standards
• Build strong relationships with your team, families, and communities

You’ll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care with Level 5 being desirable (or working towards it)
• Strong experience in operational and people management
• A valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
