Delphi Care Solutions Ltd. in Kent is seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to lead a children's home, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver strong outcomes for young people.

You will embed yourself within the service, support staff, drive safeguarding practices, prepare for Ofsted inspections, and build positive relationships with local authorities and families. Immediate start available on a 3-6 month basis with competitive day rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated childrens home.
• Experience leading teams and embedding regulatory requirements.

Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a children's residential care provider in Kent seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to provide strong leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational stability within an Ofsted-regulated children's home.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, Turnaround Manager, or high-calibre Deputy Manager who can quickly embed themselves within a service, support staff, strengthen compliance, and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
• Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Promote outstanding safeguarding practice throughout the service.
• Support, motivate, and develop the staff team.
• Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and placement outcomes.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and rota management.
• Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and partner agencies.
• Drive a culture focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people.

About You

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
• Alternatively, an experienced Deputy Manager with substantial leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Proven experience achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
• Experience supporting children with EBD, complex behaviours, trauma, or challenging needs.
• Excellent safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
