Job summary

Manpower UK seeks an interim Raw & Packaging Planner in Leeds for a 12-month assignment. The role is based in Seacroft with a mix of remote and onsite work, 37.5 hours/week, paying up to £36,260.80 per year pro rata.

You will oversee material availability, scheduling, and supplier negotiations to sustain production and minimize obsolescence. The position supports a fast-paced FMCG environment with close collaboration across the SU Logistics team and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning (preferably R&P planning).
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven decision making.
• Good team player and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials available to meet production plans while stocks stay within targets.
• Review material schedules, orders and call-offs; raise issues to Demand Planner/Scheduler.
• Negotiate urgent requirements with Suppliers, Warehouse and Security.
• Maintain information flow between suppliers and Sourcing Unit to keep supply chain responsive.
• Adhere to IVMI process and identify improvement areas.
• Keep suppliers informed about delists and stock build targets to avoid obsolescence.
