About the role
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician (QA Tech) is expected to help implement, drive, and maintain the Quality System requirements for Kraft Heinz Telford, based on the Quality Risk Management Process (KHMS Quality Pillar). The QA Tech ensures that all Quality Control checks are performed as required and provides support to Operations and other functions (such as Maintenance, Sanitation, Logistics, etc.) on a variety of quality and food safety processes and procedures. The QA Tech is required to perform their daily routines independently, and without direct supervision, while contributing to continuously improving the Quality System.
This is a temporary position lasting for a maximum of 12 months.
Responsibilities and Duties:Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. A strong problem solver with excellent math and calculation skills and basic microbiology and processing knowledge.
