Job Description
- Manage concurrent Customer projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
- Oversee budget allocation and resource management for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across the supply chain.
- Generate detailed reports on project outcomes and present them to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with both internal and external customers.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience managing projects within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Customer focus with experience interfacing with customers managing expectations and timelines
- A strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management (from inbound materials to final delivery).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle complex projects.
- Formal Project management training accreditations (Prince2, PMQ) - including practical application
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project/ MS Planner, Monday.com or similar)
- Excellent Stakeholder management (Account managers, Finance, HR, Procurement & Supply chain, Manufacturing and Logistics and 3rd party logistics providers)
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.
- Experience working within a ISO9001/ 140001 accredited environment
