Robertson Bell are delighted to be working with a prestigious organisation based in Central London who are seeking an Interim Project Board Secretary to provide vital support during a period of staff absence. This interim post offers the chance to take ownership of a key coordination role, working closely with senior stakeholders on a range of complex projects.

The role:

  • Act as secretary to the monthly Project Board, ensuring smooth coordination of all meetings.
  • Collate, review and prepare board papers, ensuring quality and consistency ahead of circulation.
  • Maintain and update a key project dashboard, ensuring accurate management information is presented.
  • Draft agendas, collate notes from the Chair, and take accurate minutes for review and distribution.
  • Liaise with project managers to chase papers, clarify information and communicate decisions.
  • Provide ad hoc coordination support on other projects, including new business plans and management information tasks.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have significant experience in secretarial or governance support, ideally coordinating board-level papers and meetings.
  • Be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate experience collating and reviewing management reports.
  • Show a proven ability to effectively liaise with senior stakeholders, including directors.
  • Work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines within a scheduled timetable.

This role reports into the Finance Manager, with close interaction with both the Head of Finance and Finance Director, and sits alongside a collaborative finance team.

The organisation offers a hybrid working pattern, with two days per week in their Central London office.
