Job summary

Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) is seeking an interim Programme Communications lead to shape and scale ARIA’s narrative and editorial standards across all programmes. You will oversee a four‑person team, drive strategy, and align communications with ARIA’s mission and institutional goals, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership in programme communications.
• Experience leading comms teams (including contractors).
• Senior advisory on risks and positioning for C-suite or programme leadership.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in a dynamic environment.
• High editorial standards across owned and earned channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop ARIA’s programme communications strategy with senior leaders.
• Lead a team of four (Managers and contractors), set standards and allocate resources.
• Shape editorial and channel strategy for programme stories and milestones.
• Provide senior judgement on programme risks and messaging."
• Foster integration between Communications and Programme teams; create guidance and training.
• Inform institutional narrative through programme insights and learning.
• Lead as communications partner to a designated programme and influence broader strategy.
