Your new company
A leading insurance client of ours is expanding their procurement team across various categories. This business utilises a contractor workforce until they can hire permanent staff, and you could join as a pure interim or in a temp-to-perm capacity if long-term employment is your goal. The company has undergone significant transformation within procurement over the past year, and you will be part of this growing function.
Your new role
As an Interim SRM, you will lead key relationships and manage contracts with existing suppliers, mainly within the professional services category. This includes areas such as tax, audit, legal, advisory, consultancy, and HR. Your responsibilities will include cost reduction where possible, maintaining mutually beneficial relationships, and ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory frameworks relevant to the insurance sector.
What You Need To Succeed
You should be relationship-driven with prior exposure to professional services categories. The role requires a quick start, ideally within a few weeks, due to its short-term nature.
What You'll Get in Return
You will receive a competitive daily rate (IR35 in scope) paid weekly through your chosen umbrella company. The role is based in central London with minimal on-site visits. The company offers a flexible, mature working environment and a subsidised on-site canteen.
