1st Executive Ltd is seeking an Interim Commercial Specialist to join a high-profile procurement team in London, hybrid working 2–3 days per week. The role covers end-to-end procurement activities and governance documentation for a major public sector client.

You will draft RFPs and contracts, review terms, and manage variations while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and reporting standards. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial/procurement experience in indirect services.
• Ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Confidence gathering information independently and reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba is useful; training can be provided.
• Proficient in Excel, SharePoint and standard Office tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist in leading procurement exercises from start to finish, including up to £5m.
• Draft RFPs, pricing schedules, governance papers and approval documentation.
• Review and draft contracts; manage variations and ensure procurement regulations compliance.
• Convert requirements into market-ready specifications with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
• Support social impact initiatives and procurement projects.
