Interim Procurement Manager – Travel & Events

Cedar are supporting a Private Sector client, based in London, who are looking for an Interim Procurement Manager with a background in Travel and Events Management.

This role is INSIDE IR35, offering a day rate up to £450 max. It will run for c6 months (potential to extend) and will operate on a hybrid working basis, expecting on-site 2 days per week. This is an urgent requirement, so ideally looking for candidates who can commence in c2 weeks.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support a range of requirements in Travel and Events, executing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance and value for money. You will onboard vendors, manage due diligence, conduct audits in partnership, and prepare detailed reports on sourcing performance, vendor compliance, and financial impact for key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Strong background in a similar role covering Procurement, Commercial, Sourcing or Category Management is required.
  • Evidence of delivering compliance and value for money solutions for requirements in Travel and/or Event Management is required.
  • Experience working with organisations in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and/or Pharma is required.
