Job Description

As an Interim Procurement Manager, you will work within the Indirect Procurement teams, focusing on categories including Professional Services, IT, Marketing, and Digital. This is an interim role with weekly travel to their offices in Manchester.

Client Details: The company is a recognized entity within their industry and is experiencing an extensive period of growth. This role requires occasional travel to their Manchester offices on a weekly basis.

Description: As an Interim Procurement Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Developing and implementing category strategies to achieve procurement objectives in Professional Services, IT, Marketing, and Digital categories.
  2. Managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align category plans with organizational goals.
  4. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators for procurement activities.
  5. Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and drive cost reduction.
  6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile: A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement, especially in Professional Services, IT, Marketing, and Digital categories.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer: Competitive daily rate of up to £500 per day. This is a temporary position with the potential to make a significant impact. Immediate start opportunity. Remote working with 1 day per week in Manchester.
