As Interim Procurement Manager you will be working within the Indirect Procurement teams focusing on a variety of categories including, Professional Services, IT, Marketing and Digital. This is an interim role with weekly travel to their offices based in Manchester!

The company is a recognised entity within their industry and are going through an extensive period of growth! This role would require occasional travel to their offices based in Manchester on a weekly basis!

Description

As Interim Procurement Manager, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve procurement objectives, with a focus on Professional Services, IT, Marketing and Digital categories.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category plans with organisational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for procurement activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms & drive cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement with experience in Professional Services, IT, Marketing and Digital categories.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management expertise, with the ability to build strong, long term relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
