Title: Interim Procurement Manager

Day rate: £300 - £375

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading business who have over 200 locations across the UK and are looking to recruit a Procurement Manager on an interim basis to support the procurement function.

The role is an already established position within the business, so they are looking to recruit an experienced procurement professional, ideally who has some experience of working in a fast paced environment, to cover the vacancy for 3-6 months.

The CFO is ideally looking for a hands-on procurement professional who has experience managing end-to-end procurement, and is going to hit the ground running.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and report into the Finance Director
  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects, vendor management, and supplier relationship management
  • Create and implement procurement policy and process, in line with company objectives
  • Analyse spend data, work closely with finance and other internal teams in order to make improvements and identify areas of savings
  • Oversee procurement risk management and lead on commercial negotiations
  • Lead RFPs, contract negotiation and work closely with suppliers

Experience & Requirements

  • Ideally will have experience working in a similar end-to-end procurement role
  • Experience within both commercial negoatiations and stakeholder management is essential for this role
  • Will have experience working in a complex fast-paced organisation
  • Needs to be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and feel confident negotiating
