Job description

We are urgently seeking a temporary HR Advisor to join our People team on a full-time, temporary basis, working within two of our six care homes. You will play a pivotal role in aligning the culture with Jasmine Values, improving engagement and team retention, and providing advice, guidance, and coaching to line support managers. This role will be very hands-on, managing various HR activities such as absence management, induction, policy implementation, and resolving complex employee relations issues.

Responsibilities:
  1. Full accountability for the absence management process, including completing all return-to-work (RTW) documentation and conducting absence one-to-ones.
  2. Ensure all formal attendance hearings are conducted in accordance with policy and legislation.
  3. Coach and develop management to ensure compliance with all people-related processes.
  4. Serve as the point of contact for all new team members within the home.
  5. Manage the delivery of generalist people and culture activities.
  6. Take minutes during meetings.
  7. Perform other ad hoc People-related tasks as required.
