£350 to £400 per day (inside IR35)

About the Job

An immediate opportunity for a highly skilled interim payroll professional to support a complex, manual payroll environment on an interim basis. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and delivery of high-volume weekly payrolls during a critical time of handover, change, and seasonal demand.

Duties will include:
  • Managing end-to-end weekly payroll processing for c4000 UK employees
  • Taking ownership of a heavily manual payroll processwith extensive use of Excel
  • Supporting the transition and knowledge transfer from the outgoing payroll lead
  • Coordinating closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate updates for starters, leavers, bonuses, benefits, and changes
  • Running Christmas payrolls and managing January pay reviews
  • Implementing benefit and salary adjustments from February onwards
  • Working with legacy systems and spreadsheets to maintain compliance and reporting standards
About the Successful Applicant

You will be an experienced payroll professional with proven expertise in running complex, end-to-end weekly payrolls. A high level of proficiency in Excel is essential, along with the ability to thrive in a manual and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, stakeholder collaboration, and adaptability are key to succeeding in this role.
