Job Description:

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a part-time interim opportunity in the charity sector? Do you have a strong background in supporting finance functions with a knack for detail and data manipulation? Are you ready to contribute to a charity that offers vital services to the local community?

My client, a respected charity based in Surrey, is seeking an Interim Part-Time Management Accountant for a 3-4 month contract, working 3 days per week. Key responsibilities are to:

  • Support the Head of Finance with management accounts, focusing on accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
  • Lead on VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage pension returns for the outsourced payroll provider.
  • Perform and oversee bank reconciliations.
  • Extract and manipulate data in Excel, working with various bespoke systems.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a dedicated charity, working primarily from the office in Surrey with occasional opportunities to work from home once settled into the role.
