Job summary

South West London Training Hub CIC in London is seeking an Operations Manager to act as the interim operational lead for the hub. The role is hybrid (South West London) and requires approximately 2 days per week.

You will ensure governance, financial sustainability and delivery of community interest objectives, support the Board, and work with system partners across Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Manager will manage the work of South West London Training Hub CIC, ensuring the organisation is well led, governed, financially sustainable and focused on delivering its community interest objectives.
• They will support the Board in developing strategy and create conditions for effective Senior Management Team leadership, robust decision-making and strong relationships with the Operational Lead and system partners.
• The role requires understanding of operational delivery and workforce development within primary care, and will guide the organisation through leadership transition and resilience challenges.

Help deliver the Future Primary Care Workforce across South West London

The South West London Training Hub CIC is seeking an Operations Manager to act as the interim operational lead for the South West London Training Hub.

This is a significant opportunity to lead an organisation that plays a critical role in the development of the primary care workforce across the six boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. Working in partnership with NHS organisations, locality Training Hubs, Primary Care Networks, educational institutions and wider system partners, South West London Training Hub CIC supports workforce transformation, education, recruitment, retention and professional development across primary and community care.

The Operations Manager will manage the work of South West London Training Hub CIC, ensuring that the organisation is well led, governed, financially sustainable and focused on delivering its community interest objectives. They will also support the Board in developing strategy and create the conditions for an effective Senior Management Team Board leadership, constructive challenge and robust decision-making while maintaining productive relationships with the Operational Lead, Directors and system partners.

The role requires an individual with a sound understanding of operational delivery and workforce development within primary care. The post holder will support the organisation through a period of leadership transition, workforce transformation and increasing expectations around organisational resilience and financial sustainability.

The Opportunity

The Operations Manager will support the South West London Training Hub on its journey to support all six local training hubs enabling all of us to deliver against SWL ICB and NHSE requirements. The South West London Training Hub will support allied providers to improve their sustainability and resilience; secure operational stability; develop more effective ways of working and help practices embed new models of care.

We are looking for someone who can manage our central Team and support assurance and reporting of programmes across all place based training hubs and ideally, they will have operational and primary care experience.
