iMultiply Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Interim Senior Operational Finance Manager in Edinburgh, hybrid arrangement. You will lead the operational finance function including AP, AR, finance systems, and cashbook, with hands-on leadership during a critical transformation period.

The role requires a proven track record in operational finance leadership, strong governance, and ability to drive automation and working capital improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing operational finance teams including AP, AR, and Cashbook.
• Proven leadership with high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, working capital management, governance processes.
• Experience operating ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365.
• Demonstrable success delivering process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across finance, technology, and wider business functions.
• Experience supporting month-end close and audit processes.
• Available at short notice for interim assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary operational finance team across AP, AR, Finance Systems, and Cashbook.
• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance operations, ensuring invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Drive improvements in working capital performance through proactive management of aged debt, debtor days, and key metrics.
• Monitor and report on AP/AR performance, providing insights to senior finance leadership.
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash processes across entities and currencies with strong controls.
• Own core finance systems governance, training, and continuous enhancement.
• Lead the month-end close contributions and audit support.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across operations.
