Deputy Director of Finance & Performance – Interim Opportunity

• Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days on-site (South East)
• Duration: 4-5 months
• Band: 8D (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: April

Are you a strategic qualified finance leader with experience in data modelling and analyzing complex data to spot trends? We’re looking for an interim Deputy Director of Finance & Performance to join a dynamic team, playing a critical role in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and transforming insights into action
• Overseeing invoicing, contracts, and performance teams
• Supporting financial modelling, cost improvement programmes, and budget setting
• Collaborating with key stakeholders across healthcare and local authorities
• Driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and influencing financial management

What We’re Looking For

• Expertise in financial modelling & data analysis / CIMA or ACCA / ACMA Qualified
• Knowledge of direct payments & commissioning work
• Experience within Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), local authorities, education or NHSE
• Diplomatic leadership style, with the ability to challenge constructively
• Good knowledge of how Complex Care / CHC works
