Job summary

Consult in Milton Keynes seeks an Interim NetSuite Migration Lead to own a critical 3‑month transition from Xero to NetSuite. You will design the migration, manage data transformation, and oversee testing, with a focus on AI-driven automation to accelerate delivery.

The role requires hands-on experience delivering Xero-to-NetSuite migrations and strong finance process understanding. You will coordinate system integrations, including Salesforce, and ensure the finance team can operate NetSuite

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least one Xero to NetSuite migration to go-live.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Python or equivalent scripting skills.
• Strong multi-currency, multi-entity UK reporting knowledge and audit standards.
• Experience applying AI tooling to finance or data migration projects.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery of the migration project.
• Own the migration architecture, COA design, segment hierarchy, and data transformation from Xero to NetSuite.
• Conduct sandbox tests, log defects, and reconcile trial balances, AR/AP aging, and deferred revenue schedules.
• Rebuild key integrations, including the Salesforce interface.
• Utilize AI tools to speed data cleaning, transformation, and draft documentation with strict controls.
• Walk the finance team through sandboxes, co-deliver first NetSuite month-end, and provide audit-ready docs.

I am currently partnering with a growing technology client based in Milton Keynes who is transitioning their core finance infrastructure from Xero to Oracle NetSuite across two entities. They are seeking a dedicated Interim NetSuite Migration Lead to take single-point ownership of this critical 3-month transition through to a fixed cutover deadline. Beyond executing the migration, my client is looking for a forward-thinking specialist who leverages AI tools and smart automation (mapping scripts, automated data cleansing, variance checks) to accelerate the project while ensuring the internal finance team is left fully self-sufficient.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery

• Smart AI Tooling
• Utilize practical AI tools to streamline data cleaning, transformation, and draft documentation while maintaining strict control boundaries.
• Handover & Support
• Walk the finance team through sandbox environments, co-deliver the first NetSuite month-end, and provide audit-ready documentation.

Required Skills

• Proven Track Record
• You must have completed at least one Xero to NetSuite migration hands-on through to go-live. (This is the primary filter)
• Technical Data Skills
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, or equivalent transformation scripting skills.

• Strong understanding of multi-currency, multi-entity UK statutory reporting and audit standards.
