Job summary

A growing international tech company is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support financial operations and achieve strategic goals. In this role, you'll manage financial statements, reporting, and budget preparation, contributing directly to the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will be qualified or part-qualified in ACA / ACCA / CIMA with over 3 years of relevant experience.

6 month contract but could be temp to perm. Are you available immediately? As we scale, we're looking for a proactive and detail-orientedManagement Accountantto join our finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial health and strategic goals of the business.

Flat Rock Technology is a growing international tech company specialising in software development, cloud solutions, and business process outsourcing. With a small but dynamic team, we work with clients across the globe to deliver high-impact digital solutions. Main responsibilities:

•Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, management accounts

•Support the Finance Director with cash flow reporting and scenario planning

•Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

•Provide insights, and recommend actions to enhance financial performance

•Monitor and report on project profitability and department spend

•Prepare budgets & forecasts, supporting strategic decision making

•Take a leading role in the scoping, selection and implementation of financial & analytical tools to provide

relevant valuable data and allow optimisation of processes

•Assist with year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting

•Involvement in system & process optimisation across departments

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes

Requirements:

·Qualified or Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) – actively studying

·3+ years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role

·Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets

·Familiarity with accounting software

·Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

·Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

·Clear communication skills and a team-player attitude
