Job summary

iMultiply is recruiting an Interim Management Accountant to join a growing multi-site business in Edinburgh. The role is a 3-month interim contract, office-based with a salary equivalent of £45,000-£50,000. You will support month-end, balance sheet reconciliations, and a project to realign property accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting roles with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
• Knowledge of VAT and month-end processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in multi-entity businesses is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain controls.
• Review and correct balance sheet control accounts.
• Assist with reclassifications and reporting improvements.
• Process and review accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Support VAT returns and related accounting requirements.
• Assist with audit preparation and year-end schedules.
• Collaborate with the Management Accountant and FD to alleviate workload.
• Support finance system/process improvements.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the business.
• Provide general accounting support across entities.
