Interim Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant (12 months FTC)

I am recruiting an Interim Management Accountant for a group of companies in Sheffield. The parent company for the group is £200m+ annual turnover and employs over 1000 people.

You will join a finance team of 6 employees, report to a Group FC and be responsible for finance reporting and management accounts for the businesses.

Duties will include:

1. The preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities.
2. Analysis and commentary on any variances.
3. Finance business partnering to discuss budgets / forecasts / variances fostering strong relationships between finance and operations.
4. Monthly project costing reports with analysis.
5. Any relevant ad hoc work / project involvement.

We are looking for:

1. Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA or QBE.
2. Relevant experience of preparing management accounts within a manufacturing business.
3. Experience of costing reports.
4. Good Finance Business Partnering skills.
5. Strong analytical skills.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, based in Sheffield, with an expected salary range of £35k-£40k depending upon relevant experience.
