A FTSE 100 company is seeking a qualified solicitor to join their procurement legal team. This remote position involves providing legal support on procurement and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in procurement and commercial contracts. Rate is £300–£350 per day for a 3-month contract.

Job description

We are working with a FTSE 100 company seeking a qualified solicitor to join the procurement legal team. This is a great opportunity to work closely with procurement and commercial stakeholders, advising on high-value supplier contracts and ensuring legal and commercial best practice across the supply chain.

Location: Remote, with occasional travel
Rate: £300–£350 per day (PAYE)

Contract: 3 months (with potential to extend)

You must be immediately available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support on a range of procurement and supplier contracts, including goods, services, logistics, and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations across procurement activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and procurement agreements.
  • Identify legal risks in supply chain arrangements and recommend practical, commercial solutions.
  • Work closely with procurement, commercial, and operational teams across the business.
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a current practising certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in procurement and commercial contracts.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and contractual risk.
  • Able to work independently and communicate legal advice clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Immediately available to start
