Interim Legal Counsel

Arbuthnot Yon are working with the UK division of a global listed business seeking to appoint an experienced commercial lawyer for a period of 6 - 9 months for a fixed term contract leading on strategic commercial contracts.

Commencing: April - June

Location: Hybrid in West Midlands HQ - 3 days in the office.

You will form part of an established and collegiate team with the key focus on advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts from procurement to customer-facing supply and distribution agreements. You will also get involved with a wider range of legal issues including intellectual property, information technology, governance, and compliance areas.

Qualifications:

1. At least 5 years of commercial contract experience.
2. Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, including the commercial teams and senior stakeholders.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible but in June at the latest and to work on a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) basis.

This position can be undertaken on a hybrid basis at the HQ in the West Midlands.
