Job summary

GenieoWeb in London is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee the final two stages of a website upgrade, coordinating with outsourced providers and senior stakeholders.

You will define project practices, manage risks, prepare readiness plans for IT deployment and data migration, and ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.

PRINCE2 practitioner and Agile experience, CMS familiarity (Drupal or similar), and strong executive reporting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Management of website-related transformation projects.
• Experience with PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
• Reporting to senior leaders on plans, risks and progress.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of project practices and organisation change.
• Identify, assess and manage issues and risks; produce progress reports.
• Create the business readiness plan covering IT deployment, data migration and engagement activities.
• Determine readiness levels of business users and close gaps before go-live.
• Assist users with transition support and change planning.
• Monitor progress on readiness targets, engagement, training, and productivity.
• Define activities to achieve stakeholder commitment before go-live.
