A leading Agriculture organisation is seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager for an interim role to support a global transformation programme. The role involves coordinating multiple squads for seamless migration and decommissioning of a legacy Oracle system over a 12-month period, with a hybrid working arrangement including one day per week on-site in Bracknell.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex IT Transformation or Decommissioning Programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across levels and functions.
  • Strong Agile methodology knowledge, with Jira and Confluence experience.

Role: IT Programme Manager


Rate: £520 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)


Client: Major Agriculture organisation


Location: Hybrid, with 1 day per week on site in Bracknell


Duration: 12 months



An interim opportunity for an experienced IT Programme Manager to join a leading Agriculture organisation, and support a business-critical, global transformation programme, as they decommission a complex, legacy, Oracle system, made up of a number of platforms.



Supporting the Platform Lead, you will co-ordinate across 16 squads to deliver the programme, driving seamless migration, continuity, and minimal disruption.



You will develop the delivery roadmap, carry out end-to-end planning, delivery and governance, ensure on-time development and deployment of new capabilities, and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and seniority. YOu will identify dependncies and look at sunsetting capabilities in the current system.



Requirements:



  • Programme Manager, with strong experience leading complex IT Transformation or Decommissioning Programmes.

  • Excellent Stakeholder management ability across levels and functions.

  • Dependency Management ability.

  • Strong Agile / Scaled Agile, with Jira and Confluence experience.

  • Ideal would be any experience in Life Sciences.
