Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an experienced Interim IT Internal Auditor through our Agile Talent Community. You will work on short- to medium-term assignments across client engagements, joining teams that value partnership and professional rigor.

This contract-focused role offers flexible engagement with Inside IR35 terms. The role centres on IT general controls, IT risk and governance, and IT change, with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT internal audits from planning through delivery.
• Experience in an organisation with turnover of £50m or more, ideally FTSE-listed.
• Strong understanding of IT general controls (risk/governance, IAM, IT development, IT change, IT disaster recovery).
• Experience at assistant manager, manager or senior manager level.
• Professional qualification such as CISA, CISM, COBIT, PRINCE2 or ACCA.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Experience delivering IT internal audits, from planning through to delivery. This is essential.
• Experience working within industry, in an organisation with annual turnover of £50m or more, ideally within a listed FTSE business.
• A strong understanding of IT general controls, for example IT risk and governance, identity and access management, IT development, IT change, and IT disaster recovery.
• Operating at assistant manager, manager or senior manager level.
• A professional qualification such as CISA, CISM, COBIT, PRINCE2 or ACCA, with post-qualification experience.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites where the engagement requires it.
